Whimsy is a free iPhone app of audio walks. Each one is written and narrated by AI, and tells you the story of the place you are standing in. It is a guided walking activity, not a tour company.

Pick a walk, pick how deep you want to go, and follow the route on the map. The narrator takes you stop by stop and tells you where to head next.

No route, no order. A map shows every stop of every walk as a place of its own. Wander up and a short clip of two or three facts plays, or tap a pin to hear one. Know a place Whimsy has never heard of? Tell it from the map.

Find Whimsy through the magic glass

Whimsy is hiding near you, and he moves to a new spot every half hour. Raise your phone, look through the magic glass, and spot him standing in the street. Every one you catch counts towards badges in Game Center.

The magic glass uses your camera and compass, so it needs a real iPhone.
